Child Protection: Appropriate Care
Below you can find a list of global indicators relating to Appropriate Care, a sub-theme of Child Protection.
Four out of five children living in child welfare institutions have at least one living biological parent. Save the Children's Appropriate Care work focusses on the development and roll out of family and community-based child protection systems and services as an alternative to institutional care. We focus particular attention on meeting the needs of children on the move, and separated and unaccompanied children in emergency situations.
