Save the Children’s Food Security and Livelihoods work is focused around hunger, livelihoods and food security, and includes humanitarian interventions aimed at rebuilding household productive capacity and increasing household economic resilience through earned income and improved assets and capabilities in order to benefit children. Our work also promotes seasonal incomesmoothing, income diversification and reduction of disaster risks to livelihoods, and the accumulation of savings and productive assets among very poor and vulnerable families with children.
