Definition
This indicator measures the percentage of children who report improved access to decision-making processes. It assesses whether children perceive that their voices are included in planning and decision-making by the government or other stakeholders.
Numerator
The number of children supported by Save the Children (SC) and/or partners who report improved access to decision-making processes and agree that their voices are included in planning and decision-making.
Denominator
The total number of children supported by SC and/or partners or the size of a representative sample of children supported by SC and/or partners who were surveyed or interviewed regarding their participation in decision-making processes.
Data for this indicator can be collected through surveys, interviews, or focus group discussions with children who have been supported by SC and/or partners. The responses collected from children regarding their access to decision-making processes and their perceptions of inclusion in planning and decision-making activities serve as the means of verification for this indicator.
The purpose of this indicator is to evaluate the extent to which children perceive improvements in their access to decision-making processes and the inclusion of their voices in planning and decision-making activities. It aims to measure the effectiveness of SC and/or partners' efforts in promoting child participation and ensuring that children's perspectives are considered in decision-making.
