Definition

This indicator measures the proportion of children enrolled in a program who complete the grade, level or program including ECCD.
If a sample survey was used please use  MEAL PIRS under Source of Data to show sampling method, sample size, confidence level, confidence interval, size of target population and the effect size where a comparison group was also assessed.

Numerator

Number of children who complete the grade, level or program. For ECCD centres the relevant duration is a year but in some cases may be defined by the project. For Emergent Literacy and Math at Home and Building Brains count the number of children whose caregiver has attended 50% of sessions.

Denominator

Number of children who were enrolled or listed as participants at the start of the program, grade or year as defined by the project.
