This indicator measures the percentage of case workers (including the ones dealing with SGBV) trained and supervised in child protection case management who demonstrate improvement in knowledge and/or competence in applying the case management process.

Numerator

Number of case workers whose competency self-assessment indicates an improvement since last assessment

Denominator

Total number of case workers completing competency assessment

Recommended Means of Verification

This indicator is measured using the Case Management Competency Self Assessment Tool, which is part of the Interagency Child Protection Case Management Training Package as well as the Steps to Protect Toolkit.

To calculate the indicator's value, divide the number of case workers whose competency self-assessment indicates an improvement since last assessment by the total number of case workers completing competency assessment. Multiply the result by 100 to convert it to a percentage.
