Definition
This indicator measures the percentage of individuals, including children, community members, and civil society actors, who have received support from Save the Children (SC) and/or its partners and report a higher level of trust in public institutions and/or other community groups. It assesses the effectiveness of SC's interventions in building social cohesion within communities and institutions.
Numerator
Number of surveyed children, community members, and civil society actors supported by SC and/or partners who report increased trust in public institutions and/or other community groups.
Denominator
Total number of children, community members, and civil society actors supported by SC and/or partners surveyed.
Data for this indicator can be collected through surveys, interviews, or focus group discussions with children, community members and civil society actors who have been supported by SC and/or partners. The responses collected from civil society actors regarding their trust in public institutions and other community groups serve as the means of verification for this indicator.
The purpose of this indicator is to evaluate the impact of SC's interventions on enhancing social cohesion reflected in trust within communities and between various stakeholders, including public institutions, civil society, and community groups.
