This indicator measures the total number of unique commitments (e.g., pledges, statements of intent, new policy directions) or processes (e.g., budget review sessions, public consultations, legislative or policy reform processes) initiated by government stakeholders and/or decision makers to improve education budgets. This includes efforts that were directly influenced by or linked to advocacy by SC, partners, or children supported by SC.

Calculation: This indicator is a count of formal commitments or processes initiated by government stakeholders to improve education budgets, influenced by Save the Children and/or partners.

Data Collection Method/Tool: Advocacy tracking tools, meeting minutes, policy documents

- Government policy documents, budget statements, or commitments
- Meeting minutes and public statements by decision makers
- Advocacy and engagement tracking logs (maintained by SC/partners/children)
- Reports and documentation from budget advocacy campaigns

Who Collects: Save the Children staff, policy, and advocacy teams
From Whom: Government stakeholders, decision makers, SC/partner staff involved in advocacy, and children engaged in advocacy efforts.
Frequency of Collection: Data will be collected after each advocacy milestone or policy engagement
