Save the Children's Protection of Children from Harmful Work sub-theme focuses on ensuring children are protected from exploitative and otherwise harmful economic activities. These activities include productive or domestic work, paid or unpaid, in their own family’s home or external to the home. Harmful work is any work that is likely to be hazardous or to interfere with the child's education, or to be harmful to the child's health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development or work that results in economic exploitation. Save the Children place particular attention on agriculture, domestic workers, and the informal sector.
