Children treated for pneumonia, diarrhoea or malaria

Indicator Name # of children who received treatment for pneumonia, diarrhoea or malaria with SC support
Indicator ID in PRIME IN00056928

Definition

Total number of children who received treatment for pneumonia, diarrhoea, or malaria through health services supported by Save the Children or partners closely supported by Save the Children.

Recommended Means of Verification

Calculation: This indicator is a count of treatment episodes for children receiving care for pneumonia, diarrhoea, or malaria with SC support. This means that one child may receive two different treatments. Therefore, given that two different morbidities are treated, the same child would be counted twice, as the focus of the indicator is on the treatment of different types of morbidity rather than seeking to have a unique child count.

Data Collection Method/Tool: Routine monitoring, health facility registers
Data Source: Health facility records, outpatient department (OPD) registers, integrated community case management (iCCM) logs, community health volunteer reports.
Who Collects: Save the Children and implementing partner staff, including the MoH
From Whom: Health facility personnel
Frequency of Collection: Data will be collected continuously during MAMI interventions and compiled on a weekly or monthly basis.
