Definition

This indicator measures the percentage of Accelerated Education (AE) learners attaining minimum grade-level proficiency in reading.

If a sample survey was used, please use MEAL PIRS under Source of Data to show sampling method, sample size, confidence level, confidence interval, size of target population, and the effect size where a comparison group was also assessed.

Denominator

Total number of AE learners
E.g., 70 learners attain grade-level proficiency / 100 total learners x 100 = 70% attained grade-level proficiency

Recommended Means of Verification

Measuring this indicator requires looking at Reading assessments (e.g., EGRA, ASER, or national exams)

To calculate this indicator, divide the number of AE learners who attain grade-level proficiency by the total number of AE learners. Multiply the result by 100 to convert it to a percentage.
