Definition

This indicator measures the percentage of children who report an improvement to their situation (e.g., safety and/or well-being) as a result of their needs being addressed through case management.

Numerator

Number of children who report an improvement to their situation (e.g., safety and/or well-being) as a result of their needs being addressed through case management

Denominator

Total number of children supported through case management during the same project specified time period

Recommended Means of Verification

This indicator is measured through interviews/surveys using recommended case management forms or by reviewing case records on case management information systems, such as CPIMS+, as per IASC forms (available in the case management toolkit). It will also be aggregated for SC HP through HART or the E&L app. This would not involve new data collection but would be based on case records.

To calculate the indicator's value, divide the number of children who report an improvement to their situation (e.g., safety and/or well-being) as a result of their needs being addressed through case management by the total number of children [specify age range] supported through case management during the same project specified time period. Multiply the result by 100 to convert it to a percentage.
