Definition
Total number of consultations (as a proxy for patients) for newborns (up to 28 days) from any health facility or structure (e.g., hospital, health centre, mobile clinic) that is supported (directly or indirectly) by Save the Children. This indicator tracks how many newborns are receiving essential services.
Direct support refers to Save the Children providing direct clinical care or service provision.
Indirect support refers to technical, financial, logistical, supply, or any other form of support provided by Save the Children, often to the Ministry of Health.
